COURSE DESCRIPTION:

This course will examine how students learn in the modern age.  It will equip educators with knowledge of the most current technologies and strategies available to facilitate learning, inform teachers of how they can use this in their lessons, and instruct educators on how to design a learning environment that will support 21^st century skills.

COURSE OBJECTIVES:

a.       Examine tools and resources for 21st century schools

b.      Examine the needs of the 21^st century students

c.       Examine the psychological level of the 21^st century students

d.      Explore communication links between the Tutor and the wards guardian

e.       Explore the benefits and challenges of online learning.

f.       Investigate the features and advantages of electronic textbooks.

g.      Explore strategies for increase children enrollment in the 21^st Century

COURSE CONTENTS:

1.      21st Century      

Overview;                                                                                                                                            What is the difference between a 20th Century classroom   and a 21^st Century classroom?

2.      Role of the teacher in a 21st Century

Classroom.                                                                                                                                         Understand what it means to incorporate "21st century skills" and include examples of other teachers and neat ideas they are incorporating   into their classrooms.

3.      Designing a learning environment to support 21st century skills.                                                                                                                                                    

 Create an atmosphere that will support student learning.

4.      Tactics to Improved Student Performance

5.      Psychology of the 21^st century Child and their Needs. 

6.      Exploring the 21^st Century Technology Potential in School.

      Strategy of increase Children Enrollment in the 21st Century
